More Christmas Cards

Just a few super quickies:  

Here are a few more Christmas cards that I made when my sis was here.  I just realized..... I need to find them so I can use them!

40 Cards Made

My sis planned a "Stain Glass Cards" day.  Some how I thought it was stain glass but with Christmas cards.  I guess I was so focused on the fact that I needed Christmas cards.  

We started and made a birthday card:

Then I went rough and asked to make stain glass Christmas cards....  Here is the total of cards made.  My sis helped me in the doubles and made 11 of them.

Then made some Joy cards: (I made both)  Love the Mandarin orange colour.

Ironically, this is the only Christmas stain glass one I made:

Of course I had to make one for my sweetie hubby:

Finally the last one I made.  I knew I wanted to make it purple.  Sis said the big snowflake would be nice with the white coming thru.  So I put purple on the back of the white card, went and punched out the snowflake on the purple for the front...... And realized, hey, wait.... Now I had a single purple snowflake in one hand, and a cut out of the outline of the snowflake on the purple.  That didn't work.  I sat there as sis worked on her computer, and I wondered.  Then I put the snowflake back into the purple cut out.... not exactly right as it blended too much.  Then I thought, wait, I could put a raised sticky so the snowflake would be higher, and sparkle the inside flake, and finally add a diamond.  Can't see that the snowflake is raised, but it looks lovely.  Haven't decided who to send it too.  Sis really liked it.... maybe I will send it to her!  ha ha ha 😄

November's Table

For November I did the dinning table in black and red - for Remembrance Day.  I added a Finbar that I had made a while ago.  The flowers I thought really added a nice Remembrance touch.

Hubby I Love You

Here's an extra posting.  

One of the things I had thought of was I would one day get a tattoo for my hubby.  (after he passes)  But I wanted to try painting it first.  I realized AJ is my rock.  So that was the start.  In the rock is the heart.  In the painting the rock looks like a frog or hippo - I know!  Then there is a tree.  I couldn't make the tree I see.  One of those thinner trees with branches out.    Like an Evergreen type.  And then the sun is to be looking out from a cloud.  Not exactly what I painted.  The 'I love you Beyond' is a hug/joke we say to each other.  One says I love you. Other says I love you more.  Hubby then says I love you mostest.  And me....I love you beyond.

In October it was our anniversary.  So I made the card for him.  It's ok.

Cucumber Patch

Remember I mentioned on the SpiritWeigh1 blog that a neigbour had given me some cucumbers and that I gave him a card...

Think it's a cute card.




Next I tried to make some piggy cards.  Not too impressed with them.  Early summer attempts.  Realized I'd better post these soon as it's been a long while!!!  Ophs.

For My Friend

Made the above card for our friend Mina.  It's her 90th birthday this month.  My sister helped me make this card when she was here a few months ago.  I liked it.  Turned out well.

The other two below are some cards I also made while my sis was here.  Again, they turned out well.  Just haven't found a use for them - yet.
